Rental Agreement

By renting a vehicle from PhanganGo, you agree to use and maintain it with reasonable care, as if it were your own property, and to return it in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear. You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driving license held for a minimum of 1 year. The rental period begins at the time of vehicle pickup and ends at the agreed return time. Your rental includes unlimited mileage.

Security Deposit

In place of a cash deposit, the renter must leave their passport with us as security for the duration of the rental period. It is returned in full once the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of rental pickup. We accept cash (THB), major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), and bank transfers. All rental fees are non-refundable — see Cancellation Policy below. Additional charges may apply for late returns.

Cancellation Policy

All rental fees are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed, including cancellations and no-shows. Please confirm your dates and vehicle choice before paying. If your plans change, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to help with rescheduling.

Where You Can Drive

The vehicle may only be used on Koh Phangan — taking it off the island is strictly prohibited. Driving on any beach is strictly prohibited and will result in a 50,000 THB fine. Driving to Yuan Beach or Bottle Beach is strictly prohibited; violating this condition makes the renter fully responsible for any resulting damage.

Long Rentals

For rentals longer than one week, the renter must return the vehicle to us for a weekly inspection.

Liability

The renter is fully liable for all damage to the vehicle during the rental period beyond what is covered by insurance (see our Insurance page for excess liability limits), including damage to or replacement of tires. Traffic violations, parking tickets, and toll charges incurred during the rental are the renter's responsibility. PhanganGo is not liable for personal injuries, lost items, or consequential damages.

By renting a vehicle, you agree to these terms and conditions.
