For cars, you need a valid international driving permit (IDP) or a Thai driving license, plus your passport. For motorbikes and scooters, a motorcycle license or IDP with motorcycle endorsement is required. We keep a copy of your passport during the rental period.
Yes, all our vehicles come with basic third-party insurance. We also offer optional comprehensive coverage for an additional fee that covers damage to the rental vehicle. See our Insurance page for full details.
Yes! We offer free delivery and pickup within a 4 km radius of our shop at Tukky Shop Car & Motorbike Rental in Thong Sala. Beyond 4 km, a small delivery fee may apply depending on distance. Just let us know your hotel name when booking.
The minimum rental is 1 day (24 hours). We offer discounted rates for weekly (7+ days) and monthly (30+ days) rentals. Contact us for long-term pricing.
We provide 24/7 roadside assistance. Call us anytime and we will either fix the issue on-site or bring you a replacement vehicle. Our number is always available via WhatsApp or LINE.
Yes, we require a refundable security deposit. For scooters it is 3,000 THB, for motorcycles 5,000 THB, and for cars 5,000-10,000 THB depending on the vehicle. The deposit is returned in full when you return the vehicle in the same condition.
Most of our cars run on regular gasoline (benzine 91 or 95). Pickup trucks use diesel. All scooters and motorcycles use gasoline. Vehicles are provided with a full tank and should be returned full.
No, our vehicles must stay on Koh Phangan. Taking a rental vehicle on the ferry to Koh Samui or the mainland is not permitted under our insurance policy.
